Trond W. Rosten has worked within the Aquaculture industry in different roles in more than 20 years, starting with practical fish
production in mid 80's, finished his University grade in Fish Physiolgy and started working in the Aquaculture Business in the
early 90's as a Management Consultant in the private companies Akva Instituttet AS and KPMG Management Consulting AS. Rosten started
working for Norwegian Institute for Water Research as a Research Manager for the Fish Ecology and Aquaculture group in 2004. Currently
he is also holding a position as the manager of NIVAs Branch Office in Trondheim. He has worked as an expert for World Animal Health
Organisation (live fish transport) and Norwegian Scientific Committee (1) welfare aspects in the production of S0 Atlantic salmon smolts
and (2) Fish welfare in closed live fish transport) and leaded several large projects in different countries.
