Degree in Sciences of the Aquatic Environment, PhD on Biotechnology (fish quality and safety). Wild and farmed origin aquatic food science, quality and safety, mainly using sensory, microbiological and physical methods. In Dec. 2008, invited to join the EFSA (European Food Safety Authority) working group on Animal welfare of farmed fish species (stunning and killing).
